Core Curriculum

The Pettibon System is taught in a core curriculum of three courses:

• Fundamentals & Lordosis Correction
• X-ray Procedures & A-P Correction
• Soft Tissue Clinic Protocols & Home Care

Practicums

Held in the clinics of certified Pettibon practitioners, Diagnostics & Application and Advanced Practicum & Case Management enable focused hands-on application of The Pettibon System.

Advanced Learning

After completing the core curriculum, practitioners can advance their learning in Pediatrics, Scoliosis, and Neurology.

Paraprofessional Training

In a Pettibon practitioner's clinic, staff plays an integral role in patient care. Spinal Technician/Team Training is specifically designed to create a knowledgeable and competent team—doctor and staff.

Business Management/Development

Business Procedures & Practice Expansion covers the clinic management aspects of The Pettibon System.

Inter-Professional Communication covers strategies for communicating with medical doctors that lead to enhanced credibility and referrals.

Mentoring

Doctors who are committed to becoming certified Pettibon practitioner can participate in a formal mentoring program.

Continuing Education Credit

Palmer College grants Continuing Education Credit for our instructor-led courses.

The Pettibon Institute offers credit for our online courses through our status as a PACE Recognized Provider. PACE (Providers of Approved Continuing Education) is a service of the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards. Not all boards accept online courses for CE hours and not all boards accept courses from Recognized PACE Providers. We have listed all the CE Re-licensure Requirements for the US and Canada so you can verify what your board accepts.

Relationship With Pettibon System, Inc.

All of the instruments and equipment used in The Pettibon System is proprietary and is developed, marketed, and sold exclusively by Pettibon System, Inc. (www.pettibonsystem.com). Products are donated for use in our courses. Other support that The Pettibon Institute receives: mailings of our advertisements and promotional material and administrative assistance for our record keeping. At the conclusion of a course, participants can discuss the purchase of instruments and equipment with sales support staff from Pettibon System, Inc. They can also obtain a product catalog for future use. While The Pettibon Institute pays all instructor fees and expenses, Pettibon System, Inc. does additionally compensate instructors with a percentage of product sales transactions.
